Too often, parents of children from families who speak languages other than English feel disconnected from their children\'s learning experiences. As a result, these parents sometimes feel helpless in their efforts to support their youngsters academically. Members who speak languages other than English are strongly encouraged to add the languages they speak to their profiles in order to empower the parents of ELLs.
