Being present with a toddler is one of life's many joys and unique challenges. Understanding them is easier than many people realize. I'm a Montessori Infant/Toddler Specialist on maternity leave with my son. Formerly head teacher of the toddler community at Burke Hospital, I've lead a class of 19 toddlers and taught multiple teachers the toddler perspective. I am available for in-home, phone and email consultations to help you develop tools to relate to your everchanging toddler and minimize your frustrations with out naughty rugs or punishments. We can focus on elements such as sleeping, toliet independence, cooperation, materials, toys, and activities, or designing your baby's nursery or your toddler's environment to help them become more calm and independent. As a parent, you most likely have limited time to spend with your family as a whole. I can help you maximize the joys of that time by avoiding many of the powerplays and struggles so sadly unfortunate with toddlers.
