Speaking in front of an audience is performing in front of an audience. As an opera singer, I have a wealth of experience making myself look and sound good in front of many different audiences. I can teach you how to make an excellent first impression and to speak with poise and intention. I will not simply tell you to add this or that hand gesture or to raise or lower your voice during a particular phrase. I will teach you to really connect to your audience through your intention. What is it you want from your audience? What does your audience want from you? The answers to these questions and many others will allow you to then use my methods to communicate your true intention.
I have been performing for 30 years and teaching for 15. I was trained at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and later lived and studied privately in New York City. I have sung in opera houses all across the US and Canada and have worked with some of the worlds finest singers, directors, conductors, and instrumentalists.
