My name is Canaa Lee, and I am the founder of the EDUKATE Academy, Inc. Helping students become more competent and confident in mathematics has been a passion of mine for about 15 years. Our vision for educating children in mathematics is that “every child is capable to mastering mathematics. At the EDUKATE Academy, it is our responsibility to teach students mathematics in a manner that makes sense to them. It has been through my experiences that making mathematics easy to understand is the single most important factor in building students’ self-confidence. As a mathematics educator, it is my belief that every student can learn and master a certain degree of mathematics. Here at the EDUKATE Academy, it is our responsibility to create, develop, implement, monitor and adjust teaching strategies and methods that enhances the success of all students-elementary through post-secondary-in mathematics.
