Thanks for stopping by! If you're looking for an engaged and friendly tutor focused on helping students succeed where they are and as they are, you found the right profile. I have over two years experience tutoring students in 1-1 settings as a music graduate teaching assistant at the University of Missouri.

I love tutoring because it is hands on–I can move extremely quickly with you based on what you know and don't know so that your time is maximized. I look at tutoring as a team engagement, and I like working with students that arrive prepared, just as I prepare for my lessons with them. You get the chance to stand and deliver your insights as we work together to get even better.

When it comes to languages, my background in Spanish and French is the result of years spent abroad with a Spanish major to show for it and French residency that I worked very hard for! :) Grammar is important, but I can also help with speaking and listening to provide the insights necessary for success as a foreign language learner.

When it comes to writing, I have over 5 years experience as an academic editor, and I have helped students at 100s of different schools improve their writing. I understand the research and organization process necessary for delivering successful papers that impress audiences and get good grades.

When it comes to music, I spent the vast majority of my formal education studying jazz and classical music. Igor Stravinsky and Miles Davis are two of my favorite musicians. I published my own album in 2008, and have collaborated with musicians across the United States and Europe. I'm currently writing a book for young musicians pursuing a career in the arts. This positions me to help you appreciate the art!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested in working with me. If I can help you, I'll let you know right away so we can get started. Have a great day!
