Preparing for a Test
September 16, 2013 by Lorraine Tsutsui  |
The test taker must have prepared for the test according to the learning style that is most efficient and effective.  For every individual, that is slightly different.

For visual learners, writing down facts and practicing on paper or with computer is most efficient.
For auditory learners, that is listening to lectures over and over.
For oral learners, that is speaking out loud the answers to questions.
For kinesthetic learners, that is working with hands-on manipulatives.

Most of us are a combination of learning styles. That might require taking a math problem and writing the answer down and explaining it out loud to someone, even self.  Sometimes, relating it to a real world situation and acting that out such as walking a coordinate axis created somewhere such as the back yard.

The student must determine how often a solution must be reviewed before it is remembered.
