How do I get started as a Member of Private Tutor Directory?
How do I manage my Member Profile?
Once you have created your account and Member Profile, you can manage all of your profile information using our simple profile management tools. You can access your account 24/7 from any computer or internet enabled device.
How will students find my Member Profile?
Students will locate your Member Profile using our extensive Directory search tools or through search engine results (i.e. Google, Yahoo, Bing). We provide students (our Guests) with the ability to search by discipline, subject, level, location, special skills and more. Students may also find your Member Profile through our social media networks.
How will I be contacted when a student requests my services?
Based on your Member Profile settings, students will have the ability to contact you directly via email, phone or both. You have the option to display your phone number on your Member Profile, however, your email address is never displayed publicly on our Directory.
Where do I host my tutor sessions with my students?
As a Member, you select locations that best meet your needs as well as your students'. Before choosing a location, we recommend you read these Tips to help you choose an environment that is safe and conducive to tutoring.
As a Member, do I pay commissions on my tutoring services?

How do I upgrade to Premium Placement?
Log in to your Member Account and click on the green Premium Placement button at the top of your Account Dashboard. You can purchase Premium Placement for 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months at a time. Premium Placement will provide your Member Profile with maximum exposure in our Directory, helping you to secure more tutoring jobs.
