My name is Darlyne Perez, Founder of Alpha Knowledge Tutoring. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and 2 daughters ages 3 and 7, and a step daughter age 16, that are my pride and joy. I have an Associates Degree in Medical Assistant, a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, and Continuing Education Credit Hours for teaching. Growing up I remember playing school with my siblings and friends in our back patio. I loved playing the role of a teacher. I've always had a passion for teaching. I first started utilizing my gift of teaching in the preschool setting which I enjoyed, and I ventured into working with school aged students. I have worked as a teacher, tutor, and mentor of various ages and at risk children for 20 years, and I currently mentor young girls at my home church. It brings me great joy to put a smile on a child's face. Alpha Knowledge Tutoring is an Independent Online Tutoring and Mentorship Program, that service students in grades K-12 in Language Arts through a virtual classroom. Some of the services provided are, English, Vocab, Grammar, ACT Prep, Literacy, Reading Comprehension, and more. There are up to 4 students in one session at a time engaging in learning. Every Friday there is a chat room session for the students to chat with the mentor to discuss any issues that are troubling them. The mentor helps by encouraging and speaking words of wisdom to students that are seeking advice.Mentoring and teaching gives me the opportunity to help the children excel in their work performance, guide them in a right direction, and show them that I care.
