I began my teaching career 16 years ago, as a special educator. I taught in a special education classroom, in a public school, for 9 years. I currently teach in a regular education, 2nd grade inclusion classroom, where I am the full-day, in-class support teacher, and have experience teaching grades Pre-K, 1, 2, 3, and 4.
I am able to provide individualized services to students with and without learning disabilities. My extensive training and background in meeting the needs of all types of learners, has enabled me to think outside-the-box when working with students, regardless of academic level.
I can provide tutoring services to all children, in grades Pre-K through 3rd. I tutor throughout the summer, and prefer to work 1:1 with students. If you are interested in summer tutoring, please let me know, for these spaces fill-up quickly. I can also provide support to families, who may need assistance interpreting/understanding the IEP process and/or paperwork. This service is available for an additional fee.
