I believe any subject is accessible to everyone – but sometimes you may need someone who shows you the way. This is one of my reasons to enjoy tutoring so much. I have more than 5 years of experience teaching undergrad students and I am a teacher who works hard to ensure the success of his students.

I understand students learn in different ways. As a result, I use multiple strategies to explain concepts and to solve problems. My teaching philosophy revolves around the Chinese axiom "Give a man a fish, and you have fed him once. Teach him how to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime".

I attended a special high school where math and science subjects were given special emphasis. I have excelled in linear algebra, statistics, calculus, mathematical economics and econometrics at both undergrad and graduate classes. Besides, I have thought linear algebra and statistics at University level for two consecutive semesters. Hence, when it comes to math, I know what really works for students.

My specialization area is economics and I have a good command over the course. This background allows me to confidently explain concepts and applications. Having taught microeconomics, macroeconomics and introduction to economics, I believe that the key to understand economics is to relate theories into real world practices.
