AIRLINE/TRAVEL COURSE
I specialize in tutoring students in improving their articulation, speech pattern, voice tone, and non verbal communication. I also assist students speech writing, and public speaking preparation. I do assign homework after every session. I provide feedback, and periodic progress reports. As with any skill, I strongly recommend to practice speaking as often as possible.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor Of Arts in Speech-Communication, I began my career in the airline/travel industry.
During my 25 year airline career, I made thousands of public address announcements. I assisted new airline flight attendants
in improving their public speaking skills.
In addition, I have worked as a public address announcer for college football,
college basketball, and, minor league professional baseball. Over the years, I have also I worked with high school, and college students, as well as adults, in providing them with the necessary skills to become, confident, and highly successful speakers.
I hold myself to a very high standard. Therefore, I never bill for a lesson, in which the student or parent is not completely satisfied with my tutoring.
While I try to be flexible with time, I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I offer make up classes or tutoring sessions.
I prefer meeting in a public location, such as a library conference room. However, I am more than happy to meet in a location which is most convenient for you.
