I've been a teacher for over 20yrs. I have experience at the elementary level. I was a special education resource teacher and have tutoring experience with students in general education as well. My experience has been to support students in reading and math skills. In reading, I work on comprehension, decoding words, and sight word attainment. In math, I work on grouping, counting up, number operations, facts, skills needed for school.
I try to make learning fun and use hands on techniques when possible.
