I am a retired university professor (History, Florida State University) with almost fifteen years experience teaching ESOL and GED classes in Boston. While at Florida State I was given the Amoco Award as one of the best undergraduate instructors at the university and was also named Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor for my work with inner-city and minority young people. I was also cited by the yearbook staff as one of the ten most popular teachers at the universit and was named the outstanding professor in the history department on four occasions.
