I am a qualified math tutor and instructor, with over twenty years of math teaching and tutoring experience.
This includes a broad background in delivering quality mathematics and computer instruction to students from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and ability levels. I have taught math at the community and technical college levels, in public school regular and special education math classes, and I have offered many years of math tutoring and home school instruction.
In addition, I have an extensive background in teaching computer technology. I have specialized in teaching or tutoring Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access - and am certified in Excel and Access.
I became licensed to teach K-12 math in Virginia in 2006. Also, I am certified as a math tutor by the American Tutoring Association (ATA). I am also certified to teach online classes for the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Educationally, I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and am continuing coursework towards a Masters in Mathematics Education.
