There is a "chemistry" to tutoring. Students often do poorly in math class due to many different reasons; the teacher, pressure, working with others, can't keep up with lesson, not knowing the basics, or just not doing the work (on purpose, Mom).
Most tutors are teachers and they know the material (as do I) but being a successful tutor means the student and teacher/tutor work well together. I will motivate your child to understand the facts and feel good about him/herself which leads toward achievement and success.
