Availability
I am available Monday through Wednesday and Fridays from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm. Thursdays I am available from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
I perfer not to tutor on the weekends; however, I will in emegency cases, but no later than 6:00 pm.

$40 / hour
Education
I have a bachleors degree in Secondary Education from the University Nevada, Reno. I made the Deans list every semester I attended and I graduated with a 3.75 GPA.
I am 53 years old and came to education late in life. After injuring myself on the job it was time for me to do something less strenuous. So I went to the local Community college and enrolled in Secondary Education classes to be come a science teacher. It happens, however, that in my basic English class my Professor pulled me aside and said. "What are you studying?" I told her and she said. "No you are a writer and you need to teach English." I went home and told my wife and the rest is history. I studied English in college and became a writing tutor at my colleges writing center, which I did up to the day I graduated from University. I have since taught middle school, high school and adult basic education. I love literature, writing and reading. I am adept at MLA and APA citation. I find essays to be particularly fun, where else can one express thoughts and ideas in a such a pure formof writing. I look forward to helping any individual I can.
