I started tutoring 20 yeaars ago for English As a Second Language (ESL) second graders in the areas of Reading and Reading comprehension. During my 15 year teaching career, I tutored voluntarially after school for students who requested or I suggested extra tutoring for. I have been tutoring privately since 1993 in Math and Science and have been working for a tutoring company for the last two years in Math and Language Arts areas which needed stregnthening based on the results of the California State Standards Tests for students in grades K-12. This year, I continue tutoring high school students privately in Science, Math and Language Arts. I am young at heart, have a great sense of humor and a great respect for the value of education and a belief in the potential of every student.
