Education
Bachelors of Science University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, 2012 B.S.
Double majored in Biochemistry and Biology.
College & High School level Science and Mathematics Tutor, providing in-person science and math tutoring services to clients within the greater Milwaukee area. I have years of tutoring experience and a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point; I doubled majored in Biochemistry & Biology.
I particularly enjoy tutoring students in the sciences because of the
opportunities to creatively illustrate scientific and physical principles.
I try to tailor my teaching style to each particular student's goals and interests. Typically this includes:
-Using real-world applications of the concepts learned.
-Demonstrations: In my experience, seeing a phenomenon firsthand is the best way to not just learn, but more importantly to remember a concept.
-And of course I take advantage of traditional methods and materials, such as worksheets and problem sets.
