My goal is to help students achieve their goals and gain higher self-esteem in a non-threatening style. I teach with students differences in mind. It means starting where the students are rather then adopting a standardized approach to teaching that seems to presume that all learners of a given age or grade are essentially alike.

I tutor all subjects for regular and special education students, grades K-12. I am a Certified Wilson Reading System tutor and have been very succesful taking challenged readers to fluency.

To better serve my students, I attended Salem State University and received a Masters in Education in Moderate Special Education. I have worked with many students with a variety of special needs such as language-based disabilities, the autism spectrum, emotional, physical and intellectual disabilities. I am creative, flexible, hard working and mature and make learning challenging yet fun.
